Character & lifestyle
Zabeel is Dubai's old government quarter, centred on Zabeel Palace and the 47-hectare Zabeel Park, ringed by newer towers such as One Za'abeel and Address Residences Zabeel.
Zabeel Park is the district's centrepiece, with lakes, gardens, jogging paths and the Dubai Frame. One&Only One Za'abeel adds a cluster of fine-dining restaurants to the area. There is no shopping mall or high street inside Zabeel itself; residents drive to Dubai Mall, BurJuman Centre or Wafi Mall for retail, and to nearby Karama for everyday shopping and cheaper dining.

Mostly high-rise apartments (1 to 5 bedroom, duplexes) concentrated in newer towers such as One Za'abeel, Address Residences Zabeel, Downtown Views and Wasl 1. Zabeel 2 also carries older villas, townhouses and government-allocated housing that rarely reaches the open market, plus office and retail space inside the mixed-use towers.

Getting around
Nearest metro is Max Station (Red Line) in Al Kifaf, near Wasl 1 and the One Za'abeel towers, with World Trade Centre and Emirates Towers stations also close by. No tram runs through Zabeel; the nearest tram line is in Dubai Marina/JBR. By car, Downtown Dubai and DIFC are both a short drive via Sheikh Zayed Road, with Dubai Marina further out.
