Character & lifestyle
A small, low-rise residential and industrial community in eastern Dubai, close to Ras Al Khor, Dubai Festival City and Dubai Creek Harbour. It is bounded by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) to the east, Ras Al Khor Road (E44) to the south, Rebat Street (D83) to the north and Nadd Al Hamar Road to the west. The southern edge includes an industrial pocket, while the residential core is villa and low-rise apartment focused.
Everyday shopping is limited; residents drive to Dubai Festival City, City Centre Mirdif or Aswaaq Mall. There are local mosques, parks and schools, including The City School International Private and the new GEMS Founders School Nad Al Hamar. Off-plan developments include Nad Al Hamar Gardens by Wasl Properties. The area has a family-oriented, suburban feel with an industrial-commercial fringe.
