Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ask ERIC service ("Service"), operated by eightyeight.ai ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Ask ERIC is a conversational property search assistant that helps you discover, evaluate, and shortlist properties in Dubai based on your stated preferences. Eric collects your requirements, suggests properties, gathers your feedback, and, when you are ready, connects you with a human property agent to arrange a viewing. Eric is an informational and matchmaking tool and is not a party to any property transaction.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete information when interacting with the Service.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials and your conversations.
• Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

4. Property Information and No Guarantees

Property listings, pricing, availability, ratings, reviews, distances, and other data presented through the Service are provided for convenience and may be sourced from third parties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any listing or information. You are responsible for independently verifying details before making any decision or commitment.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and recommendations. While we strive for quality, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or real-estate advice, and should not be relied upon as such.

6. Hand-Off to Property Agents

When you choose to proceed with a property, we may share your relevant preferences and contact details with the managing property agent. Any subsequent dealings, viewings, agreements, or transactions are solely between you and that agent or the relevant third party. We are not responsible for the conduct of property agents or the outcome of any transaction.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, branding, and software, is owned by eightyeight.ai and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your personal information.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, eightyeight.ai and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
